is a regional branch organization of
METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and
Industry). It has jurisdiction over the wide Kanto areas which include Tokyo metropolis and ten prefectures. (Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma, Saitama, Chiba, Kanagawa, Niigata, Yamanashi , Nagano, Shizuoka prefectures.) METI-Kanto is committed to contributing to the development of the local by mobilizing the experience , expertise and various policies that it has accumulated thus far. |
